Upper Quadrant Location Edmonton - Alberta


The upper quadrant course focuses on advanced skill development and builds on the skills learned in the lower quadrant as well as adding the muscles of the upper quadrant. The upper quadrant muscles are often more technical and the correct identification of the anatomy and nearby structures (arteries veins nerves organs) is more critical.

Theoretical components include: clean needle technique, safety precautions, contraindications and consent, theories and science behind dry needling, the effects on the muscle, neural and fascial systems.

Practical components includes:  muscle groupings including posterior shoulder, parascapular, cervico-thoracic junction and upper thoracic, upper arm, anterior chest and shoulder girdle, upper cervical spine, TMJ and anterior neck, arm, and hand.

Course Costs $1500 ( includes manual, lunches, water and snacks)

Pre Requisite - On Point Lower Quadrant ( if trained with another introductory dry needling course please enquire)
